One of our favorite Christmas traditions is this box. Every year in December I fill each door with something - usually either chocolate or something to do.
My kids look forward to this every year! I was a little late getting going this year and they let me know about it 😁
Tonight they finally got to open the first door! It's as simple as Home Alone (a family Christmas fav), popcorn, and hot chocolate.
This is one of the items that I see each of them wanting when they grow up and I pass things on (much like the mouse calendar from my childhood).
